What is Voluntary Action Cardiff (VAC)?

VAC is:

• The County Voluntary Council (CVC) for Cardiff.
• A membership organisation which is open to all voluntary and community organisations (collectively known as the Third Sector) working or based in Cardiff.
• A registered charity and a company limited by guarantee with an elected Board of Trustees.
  
  

• An umbrella or infrastructure organisation for the local Third Sector.
• A CVC's key role is to provide advice and information to local Third Sector organisations on any issues that may affect them.
• CVCs provide Third Sector representation on strategic partnerships.
